A new species, Allonothrus henroi spec. nov. was collected from Shikoku Island, Japan. The new species has an inverted U-shaped lamellar ridge, two pairs of transversal ridges, lamellar setae extending in front of rostral margin, and a circle cavity on prodorsum, and a large cavity as long as mutual distance of setae h_1 in terminal of notogaster.
