Abstract
The 9th International Symposium on Surface Science (ISSS-9) —Toward Sustainable Development—, which was organized by The Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science (JVSS), Public Interest Incorporation Association, took place online from November 28 to December 1, 2021. I would like to invite you to the collection of papers that were originally presented in ISSS-9.
