Twisting power in subphases of antiferroelectric liquid crystals, CS4001 and MHPOPB-MHPOBC mixing system, was investigated by circular dichroism and optical rotatory power experiments. Helical structures in the subphases were discussed in terms of the twist, ing power of SmC_γ^* and SmC_A^l*.
