We have investigated phase transition behavior of a binary mixture between the dichiral liquid crystal with the optically isotropic phase and its stereo isomer by means of differential scanning calorimetry and optical microscopy. There is marked difference in the phase diagram between cooling and heating. Furthermore the phase diagram on heating shows a clear discontinuity. We discuss reorganizaition of the molecules by chiral recognition.
