3D08 非キラル液晶ダイマー α-(4' アルコキシジェニルベンジル-4-イルチオ)-ω-(4'-アルコシキシフェニルベンジル-4-イルチオ) パーフルオロアルカンのTGBAの発現とその構造

抄録

A twin grain boundary smectic A (TGBA) phase was found for nonchiral dimers, α-4'-alkoxyphenylbenzyl-4-ylthio)-ω-(4'-alkoxyphenylbenzyl-4-ylthio) perfluoroalkanes. The generation and structure were investigated by use of DSC, polarized microscopy and X-ray diffractometry. It was inferred that the generation of TGBA is closely related with a broomerang-shape of molecules.
