In this paper, we have investigated a mechanical model for liquid crystal phase behaviors. We have postulated that the liquid crystal molecules are simple mechanical system. Applying semiempirical MO method, the mechanical parameters such as the center of gravity, the moment of inertia and the eccentricity have been calculated and analyzed their correlation to the liquid crystal thermal stability. We have also investigated the critical rotational speed of the molecule as an important characteristic parameter for the molecules.
