The surface excess of binary nemaIic liqulid crystal mixrures w as investigated by means of regualar solution theory, which is one of the thermodynamic lreatments for non-ideal syaems. Solubility parameters were used to estimae both the activity coefficient and the surface tension fox liquid crystals. In this study, we wish to report that the surface composition of liquid crysiai mixlures can be influenced by the molecular interaction in the bulk solution.
