抄録

Comparing the results of the scaled particle theory with the simulation data, we have recently proposed an approximation form of the equation of state of aligned long hard rods. In the present study we extend the approximation to the binary mixture of hard spheres and parallel hard rods. We modify the scaled particle theory for the adaptation to long rods and combine it to the case of spheres. We show that the obtained approximation gives a good agreement to the simulation data.
