Angle of the relative amplitude ratio Ψ of the elliptic polarization light and aparent tilt angle θ of polymer-stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystals under electric field were measured by ellipsometer and a polarization microscope. From the relation, Ψ vs θ, which shows hysteresis loop, it is suggested that the trajectory of molecular motion differs in the directions of the electric field.
