Abstract
It is known that the temperature range of polymer-stabilized blue phase (PSBP) is extended by the polymer network induced in the disclination. The temperature range is associated with a monomer which is polymerized by UV. Although it is not well known that relationship between the temperature range and the polymer network structure. In this report, we discuss the relationship between the observed polymer network structure and the temperature range of PSBP. We have found that the polymer network structure in liquid crystal segregates and the temperature range was not extended, when solubility of the monomer in the liquid crystal is poor.
