PA36 Influence of the structure of photoconductive chiral dopants on the photorefractive effect of FLCs

Abstract

The photorefractive property of photoconductive ferroelectric liquid crystalline mixtures was measured. The mixtures composed of the photoconductive chiral dopants and liquid crystals exhibit large gain coefficients in two beam coupling experiment. The influence of the structure of photoconductive chiral dopant on the photorefractive effect of liquid crystals was nvestigated. The real-time dynamic holograms were achieved in this experiment.
