Controlled self-assembly of polyoxometalate is an initial and key step toward development of advanced and functional materials. In this study, to control the self-assembled structure of polyoxometalate, we synthesized organic/inorganic hybrid materials containing both low-molecular-weight molecules and polymer as the organic materials. We found that those hybrid materials showed liquid-crystalline phases, and the polymer could stabilize the liquid-crystalline phases in the hybrids.
