Study on the composition and character of the photorefractive ferroelectric liquid crystal blends

Abstract

The photorefractive property of photoconductive ferroelectric liquid crystalline blends was measured. The mixtures composed of the photoconductive chiral dopants and liquid crystals exhibit large gain coefficients in two beam coupling experiment. The influence of the viscosity reducing agent on the photorefractive effect of ferroelectric liquid crystals blends was investigated.
