抄録
In the previous papers (1), (2), (3) the writer presented the results of some experimental studies of the ionic influences upon the cellulose-water interface. The present paper gives a theoretical consideration of these results and a theory is advanced here to explain the ionic behaviors of cellulose and its derivatives in water or in the solution of electrolytes.
