Km value of cellulose nitrates in acetone is measured in relation to their degree of nitration and degree of polymerisation.
(1) Km value varies respectively with the degree of nitration and degree of polymerisation.
(2) Following relations hold for nitrogen content of about 13.8% N, which is obtained usually with nitration mixture containing HNO3-H3PO4-P2O5.
