Abstract
Many researches have been carried out concerned with drying shrinkage of concrete so far. However, many of them focus on drying shrinkage of concrete itself. Exterior of architectural buildings are often coated with finishing materials. That may indicates drying shrinkage properties of structures are to be taken into account of influences of exterior coatings. This paper deals with influences of exterior coatings on drying shrinkages of concrete. Test results shows that the exterior coatings reduce the drying shrinkages of concrete.
