Abstract
Pinhole phenomena on a surface film on reflective glass were detected in a building that has elapsed 20 years from the completion and has applied the surface film for outdoor. EPMA analysis, SEM-EDX analysis and ESCA analysis were applied the phenomena area and a state of the film was extimated. As a result of the analysis, the phenomena were separated 2 types. One was slight film damage and the other was an adhesion of silica etc on the film surface. Based on the above mentioned, it is expected that TiO2 film coated on the reflective glass surface has good durability as a building exterior if physical damage has been given on the film in a maintenance procedure.
