Abstract
High heavy corrosive protection is required in the large-scale construction of structure on the sea, the roof of an airfield, etc. This material that is a compound of cement, acrylic polymer emulsion, carbon fiber, etc., and is applied to steel and concrete was developed 20 years ago. This material of high heavy corrosive protection was applied to the pier of the seashore facing Doukaiwan of Fukuoka Prefecture, which have been kept exposing for 20 years. Moreover, this material was evaluated in terms of durability and adopted by all the roofs of the hangar of Self-Defense-Forces facilities all over Japan and gave good results. Durability is the most important for heavy corrosive protection paint, and it is also demanded an adoption for partial repair. Properties of this material and each type of experiment are presented in the article.
