Abstract
For the disposal of waste insulation material produced, along with the renewal or abandonment of a power plant or petrochemical plant which uses a large quantity of insulation material, a system for reducing the volume of industrial waste by compacting at the waste-production site has already been developed so as to minimize the transportation ⁄ disposal quantity of waste. This report describes the system, which is able to efficiently dispose of a relatively smaller quantity of waste produced at a construction site, as compared with a power plant, etc., by means of a newly-developed device which is able to use conventional waste-container collecting vehicles, allowing both the volume-decrease compactor device and compacted waste to be loaded on board.
