Abstract
It is often used that illuminating surfaces of wall or floor with spot light to create asplendid atmosphere for building exterior or interior space. This paper deals with theappearance of wall finishing rough surface illuminated with spot light for building. The studyfocus on the contrast of highlight and shadow by spot light to evaluate the appearance for thebuilding finishing rough patterns. The report considers the test results on the contrast ofhighlight and shadow in the surfaces finished by various rough patterns of test samples andactual walls.
