Abstract
According to previous studies, they reported that finishing materials improve durability of concrete. However, moisture content in concrete related to the improvement is not clear. This paper reported results of two dimensional analysis of water content in concrete with various finishing materials exposed to long term drying. This paper also reported the relationship between weight loss and drying shrinkage strain of concrete with finishing materials. The results showed that the preventive effects of finishing materials against water evaporation from concrete was lost after long term drying.
