Abstract
This study is intended to establish maintenance technique of the cementitious siding. The outer wall receives directly detarioration factors including a temperature change, wind, rain and ultraviolet rays. However maintenance technique of cementitious siding has not been established yet. This study particularly focused on the behavior of the joint that is the weak point of the outer wall. Numerous data has been collected in order to grasp the behavior under the real environmental conditions, and to establish maintenance technique consisting of a deterioration prediction. Furthermore, the decreasing rate of joint movement by the temperature has examined in this part.
