Abstract
The authors have studied the effect of moisture in peeling of glued laminated timber. This paper performed water absorption test to both lamina with limited direction of water absorption and glued laminated timber to measure determined deformation and moisture content distribution. By using deformation of lamina and glued laminated timber, we computed restraining stress which is expected to be the cause of peeling. As a result, peeling did not occur because restraining tress become below the results of exiting researches.
