Research and study of Weatherproof paint For Wood

Abstract

There are many old wooden buildings in Kyoto like shrines and temples. I invited a lecturer from a membership company and held a study session to succeed to the painting of a traditional wooden building in Kyoto in September, 2012.At that time, I painted old paint (cashew, koumyoutan, persimmon juice, rubigo) and current paint to wood and tried a comparison, inspection. I report the result of the exposure test.
