Abstract
we have developed a highly durable water-based vinyl ester resin with low odor As a new lining material to prevent the degradation of the kitchen wastewater tank. In this paper, we have reported results of the lining material resistance against organic acid-proof, sulfuric acid-proof, including its adhesion property and an evaluation for the full-scale construction. In the organic acid proof resistance test, durability after immersing in oleic acid and valeric acid was confirmed by visual appearance test and the weight gain. The sulphate ion penetration depth was measured to test for the resistance against sulfuric acid- proof. The values were found to be within the limit set by the Japan Sewage Works Agency. The adhesion tests were also carried out with various substrates other than the concrete, to confirm its applicability with different substrates. Finally, the full-scale construction test was conducted including the various finishing hardwares in the tank to simulate the real case scenario.
