Abstract
This paper reports the influence of seashore environment and winter season construction on water-based anticorrosive paint quality. Main results are described as below. (1)Anticorrosive effect of the water-based anticorrosive paint on the general surface is equivalent to the oil-based anticorrosive paint. However, the former paint is easy to be rusted on edge and the circumference of mouting holes where the coating film thickness is smaller than the general surface and the attaching water on the surface is easy to stay there. (2)It is neccesary to take the construction condition into consideration because the coating construction in low temperature and high humidity where is inapropriate construction condition for the former would be not expected the essential paint quality. (3)Chloride penatration into the coating film is not acknowledged according to 12-month-outdoor exposure test in seashore for the former and the latter and it is judged that protective effect of the coating film is superior. (4)The former has equivalent qulity to the latter if it forms normally. However, there are cases when the former has worse than the latter. Therefore, it is important to take the construction condition and construction control into consderation in the planning.
