Abstract
Environmental management for baking enamel coating system onto aluminum alloy building materials has been continuously studied. In this paper, boiling water resistance test and salt spray test for the combination of some surface preparation and combined resin powder coating that is composed polyester and fluorocarbon are discussed. The main results are as below. (1)HAA hardening type polyester powder coating on zirconium chemical converted aluminum alloy extruded shape to compare has been observed the film peeling around the cutting part after the boiling water resistance test and much blistering not more than 1 millimeter in diameter after the salt spray test. Accordingly, it is judged that the combination is inferior to the coating film adhesion and the aluminum alloy substrate protection against corrosion. (2)The combined resin powder coating on chromium Ⅵ or zirconium chemical converted otherwise anodic oxidized aluminum alloy is more superior than the HAA hardening type polyester powder coating.
