Comparison with the accelerated deterioration test and outdoor exposure test (1year) for performance change of the window frame for the polyvinyl chloride

Abstract

The polyvinyl chloride is expected to be applied to the window frame. The authors have studied deterioration of polyvinyl chloride using outdoor exposure test and accelerated deterioration test by ultraviolet light. This paper prepared the four different types of specimens of additive conditions, and determined color difference and raman spectroscopy. The results of performance evaluation were that the progress of the deterioration was considered to be small in 1 year outdoor exposure test. Considering the accelerated deterioration test, it can be determined that specimens turn yellow in outdoor exposure test.
