Evaluation of Efflorescence Prevention Agents

Comparison of Admixture for Mortar and Premixed Cement Mortar

Abstract

This report examined the efflorescence phenomenon suppressing effect；comparison of efflorescence prevention agents to be added at the time of kneading mortar and premixed cement mortar containing polymer in advance.After that, we attempted quantification of efflorescence degree using image analysis software.As a result of the image analysis, it was found that there is a possibility of evaluating the efflorescence degree by comparing the standard deviation of the R value（red shade）.
