Abstract

Damage to buildings due to earthquakes and the like is expected to extend to major partitioning members and fireproof covering materials etc. on fireproof and fireproofing, and its fire resistance is considered to be significantly reduced. Therefore, in this research, for the purpose of clarifying the influence of cracks (gaps) generated in fire resistant coating material (sprayed rock wool) on the temperature rise characteristic of steel members for steel members suffering from earthquake damage , Small-scale heating experiment was carried out and it is reported.
