Abstract

Building elements such as columns, beams, walls and floors are ordinarily protected with fire protection material to assure the sufficient fire resistance of the building elements exposed to fire. Load bearing capacity and insulation and/or integrity of the building elements are required to prevent a building from collapse and fire spread in a fire. Autoclaved light-weight concrete panel (ALC panel) is a fire protection material and widely used. In this study, fire resistance tests were conducted to clarify the temperature characteristics of protected emelents.
