Abstract
The authors suggested an optimized tile allocation method to prevent discomfort from the tile color difference after repair. The optimal matching between tiles and repair targets having color distributions was solved by a combination optimization algorithm, the Hungarian method. The reduction of the color difference with this method was quantitatively validated. The optimized allocation was also tested its efficiency with multiple targets in the target grid size (tiles would be randomly allocated to one target in the grid). Although the improvement efficiency declined as the target grid size increased, the simulation results validated the optimized allocation method to prevent the color difference caused by the random allocation.
