Part3. Research about the building materials repair with various clear coating

Abstract

The repairing of a fiber reinforced cement siding board used for a house was generally painted by single color of paint. Since various colors or high design of a fiber reinforced cement siding board was released in the market, and the demand of a repairing of these siding boards which can remain the original pattern, high design or texture is increasing recently. Especially, process of repairing by clear paint utilizing the original pattern of a fiber reinforced cement siding board and to have better gloss for renovating original gloss reduction paint film is increasing now. In the previous report, it was mentioned about the performance of "Clear paint for refurbishment of weak solvent based high-architectural building materials" launched by some paint manufacturers in a few years. It is mentioned in the report about, in consideration of safety and environmental load, the investigation using the waterbourne testing paint.
