In this study, Odor removal test was conducted to clarify the function of gypsum finished wall. In the experiment, Test pieces were prepared by lime plaster finishing, diatomite finish, paint finish and cross finish. In the odor removal test, carried out by placing the test piece and anmonia in a 3 liter closed vessel. As a result, The odor absorption rate of the test piece using the gypsum material was 0.69 to 2.74 times that of the paint finish and cross finish test piece. There was no functional deterioration of the plaster finishing wall due to aged deterioration of 10 years.
