Basic experiment for electrical protection with Zinc

Abstract

The reinforced concrete apartments in Hashima had been severely deteriorated. So author selected galvanic anode system for reinforcement corrosion to minimize deterioration and damage. Galvanic anode system’s not able to control protection current flow, and effectiveness depends on structure, environment condition. Author has conducted basic experiment for electrical protection with Zinc as anode material for two weeks to test correlation of effectiveness of corrosion proof and position distance between reinforcing bar and zinc.
