Study on aging of exterior wood by outdoor exposure test

Abstract

Although we need to think enough about utilization of wood for an exterior material of buildings because wood changes due to sunlight and moisture, in fact, buildings used wood as an exterior material is increasing. For this reason, it is needed to establish the prediction method and control strategy of change in case of using wood outdoors. In this study, we make specimen, observe change of property by outdoor exposure test and the like, and report the result of exposure test for eight months.
