Abstract

At present, the percussion sound diagnosis method that is often used as an outer wall tile deterioration diagnosis method is to use a test hammer to make a judgment by a diagnostician by listening to the difference between the percussion sound of a healthy part and a floating part of a wall surface. Therefore, because the measurement result cannot be expressed as an objective numerical value, there is a problem that the determination accuracy varies depending on the diagnostician. Against this background, in the research, with the aim of improving the judgment accuracy in the outer wall tile percussion diagnosis, we conducted a basic survey of the outer wall tile deterioration diagnosis method for site managers and technicians. As a result, the problems of the current percussion diagnosis method and the current state of the tile outer wall implementation work were confirmed, so we will report on them.
