In this paper, in order to examine the prevention method of frost damage for the stone used as the exterior material, the outdoor exposure test was conducted using Oya stone, Towada stone, and Sapporo soft stone, and compared the results of the acceleration test and evaluate freeze-thaw resistance. From the results, the physical properties and the relationship between the three types of repair materials and the freeze-thaw resistance were considered. From the accelerated test, it was confirmed that the hydrophilic resin used as the repair materials has freeze-thaw resistance. In order to investigate the mechanism, the relationship between the resin concentration and freezing temperature and the volume expansion coefficient during freezing was examined as the resin property.
