Part4 Results of cycle corrosion resistance test on galvanized steel surface.

Abstract

Following part 3, we examining whether the specifications using weather resistance water-based paint for steel structures are appropriate as the specifications for the buildings, verifying in comparison with the current solvent type specifications. In the standard specifications for public building work, there are galvanized steel surfaces as well as steel surfaces as the base metal material. Galvanized steel surfaces are said to have poor adhesion to paint. This paper describes the evaluation of the cycle corrosion resistance test on the galvanized steel surface followed by the adhesion test.
