Abstract
In the inspection of existing bridges, inspector actually goes to the site, and fill out the results of the bridge inspection in the inspection record. Thereafter, the data recorded in the inspection records are saved as electronic data. However, this method is time-consuming, and not effective and efficient. Bridge Inspection Support system utilizing smart phone developed in this study is able to save the inspection results to the inspection record as electronic data in the field. In addition, the user interface is made easy to see, even if it is not an expert, inspection results can be input.
