Abstract

When suffering from sequelae by stroke and so on, the patients undertake rehabilitation. Box and Block Test (BBT) is a method to check the effect of rehabilitation. This test can assess upper limb function and hand dexterity by moving wooden block. This study has developed virtual rehabilitation system and reproduced BBT in virtual space by using Leap Motion Controller and Unity. This virtual system can get hand position from Leap Motion Controller in BBT. There are many sequelae in stroke. This study assumed hand paralysis by comparing a difference between weighted hand pulled by rubber band and unweighted hand. Then, this study focuses on hand path in BBT and evaluate hand movement distance then, this study found a hand movement difference between weighted hand and unweighted hand.
