Abstract

In order for communication robots to heal people, they need to make a friendly impression. Communication robots are evaluated as excellent even though they have a fault of not giving a friendly impression. To solve this problem, we consider that friendly robots need imperfections. Therefore, in this study, we propose a robot model that makes a friendly impression by making mistakes. To reduce the bad impression effects of these mistakes, we propose a new model in which the robot grows in intelligence as the user becomes comfortable with the tasks. The evaluation result of the robot that made mistakes was slightly inferior to that of the other. Therefore, further research is needed to enhance the friendly impression of the robot that makes mistakes.
