Abstract

In this paper, we have developed a robot that performs only simple movements and investigated whether the color of the robot ’s clothing affects the expression of its emotions. The experimental results showed that the moving robot wearing blue clothing was significantly higher in sadness than the others, and the stationary robot wearing red was significantly higher in anger. These results suggest that robots can express different emotions by changing the speed and clothing colors.
