Currently, the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan is increasing. Before the COVID-(breakpoint)19 pandemic, the number of inbound tourists was steadily rising, but it plummeted during the pandemic. However, as the pandemic subsides, the number of foreign visitors to Japan is gradually increasing again. Recently, the number of foreign visitors has rapidly recovered to levels comparable to those before the pandemic. Additionally, the perception of affordability due to the weak yen is also a contributing factor to the increase in foreign tourists. As the number of foreign visitors to Japan increases, inbound consumption is also expanding, contributing to economic growth. On the other hand, the rapid increase in foreign tourists has also brought about some negative effects. Cultural differences between Japan and other countries have led to troubles between Japanese tourists, store clerks, and foreign visitors. Moreover, issues related to overtourism, such as the negative impact on local residents, have also emerged. This study, we will conduct a survey and analysis of foreign tourists. By analyzing posts about foreign tourists, we will examine future challenges related to tourism.
