Guaranteed Cost Control for Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Systems with Unmeasurable Premise Variables via Observer

Abstract

This paper addresses the problem of guaranteed cost control for Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy system with unmeasurable premise variables. Since full states are rarely available in many practical systems, it is necessary to estimate the unmeasurable states. In case where the premise variables depend on unmeasurable states, the observer design becomes particularly challenging. In this paper, we propose a fuzzy observer with guaranteed cost and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
