Abstract
A 74-year-old male developed tarry stool and anemia while he was staying in a near-by hospital for spastic acroparalysis after brain trauma. Endoscopic examination revealed multiple mucosal vascular ectasias with oozing blood spreading from the cecum to the ascend-ing colon. Conservative treatments failed to cease bleeding so that the endoscopic coagulation of the lesions was conducted. Endoscopic hemostasis was quite successful and endoscopic observation two months afterwards revealed that the lesions of vascular ectasias themselves almost disappeared.
