抄録
1) The chromosome numbers of 61 agronomic varieties or strains of Manchurian Kaoliangs were observed to be n=10 or 2n=20, and no polyploidy was found there. Meiosis proceeds normally in general.
2) In some agronomic varieties, one pair. of peculiar-shaped chromosomes which were termed by Huskins and Smith (1932) as A-chromosomes were identified in root tip cells.
3) All somatic chromosomes show a constriction at a point which is median or submedian. In some chromosomes another one constriction was also observed, but the further classification of chromosomes could not be made.
