Abstract
Linkage is found between the factors for dominant white-cocoon (I) and translucent skin (og) in the race Giallo ascoli. The linkage is complete in the female as in other factors showing the same kind of phenomenon (Table 3), while in the male 7.4 percent recombination occurs (Table 2). Since the dominant white-cocoon factor is supposed not to belong to any known linkage group, and the translucent of Giallo ascoli is an autosomal character, the two factors (I and og) probably represent a new linkage group.
