Genetic relation between line defects in the form of decorated capillaries and inclusions was clearly established among crystals, grown either from the vapour or flux. The origin of dislocations with a giant Burgers vector in a crystal was analysed referring to the lattice mismatching in the early stage of crystal growth. The giant Burgers vector is a result of total sum of the dislocations introduced into the single crystal. Good correlation was found in Frank's formula on the capillary equilibria, adopting the measured step-height and the diameter of the hollow-dislocations thus formed.
