Abstract

In order to disclose the characteristics of the three parameters in the distribution function of tensile data on SBR vulcanizates, the influences of ome factors, specially fillers and curing times on the distribution are studied.
For analysis, a new devised graph is used. The relation between reduced minimum value, δ and scaleparameter, 1/α for different values of the coefficient of variation, δ = σ/ V, is traced. Within sampling errors, a systematic relation is found between the expected reinforcing ability of filler and the coefficient of variation, δ=σ/V.
